Running for
all mothers.

I'm Erin — I'm 25 weeks pregnant and decided to run (maybe walk) the Chester Half Marathon this Sunday May 17th just because I love to run. While doing so, I want to raise money for For All Mothers+ who are helping build a world I want to live in — where moms can thrive in pursuit of health, career, and personal ambition.

I'm 25 weeks pregnant with a little girl, and I signed up for the Chester Half Marathon a few weeks ago because running has been feeling good, and I thought why not. Running is my happy place (most of the time), so while pregnancy has brought about lots of interesting changes, being able to get out the door and go for a run has helped me maintain my sense of "me". I feel lucky to still be able to comfortably get in a run, and hope I'm still able to get in a run whatever the future brings.

I wanted to run for For All Mothers+ because, as an almost-mother, I want to support other women pursuing their passions in sport and beyond while being moms. And I want my daughter to grow up in a world where that's normal.

Any donation, whatever the size, means so much. Thank you. 💛

For All Mothers+

For All Mothers+ is an impact non-profit leading a national movement for maternal equity by eliminating the Motherhood Penalty — the phenomenon by which women face economic, social, and health disadvantages after becoming mothers. The organisation levels the playing field for mothers by breaking down identified barriers and building a world where moms can thrive in pursuit of health, career, and personal ambition. Through the lens of sports, For All Mothers+ drives investment, policy reform, and cultural influence around the value of moms, setting a new standard for how mothers are supported across industries.
